Join Perifery in Las Vegas at the 2024 NAB Show

While I’m the newest member of the Perifery team, I’m not new to their technology solutions or the National Association of Broadcasting (NAB) Show in Las Vegas. If you are not yet familiar with Perifery, please allow me to tell you a bit about the organization. Perifery, a division of DataCore, leads the Media & Entertainment (M&E) industry with its innovative archive and workflow solutions. These solutions provide rapid, secure, scalable solutions to streamline the preservation, protection, and monetization of digital assets.

How Does Perifery Give M&E Organizations the Edge?

By harnessing cutting-edge AI workflow tools, Perifery empowers leading media and entertainment companies to transcend traditional boundaries, accelerating their journey from core infrastructure to the edge and cloud. Perifery’s transformative solutions redefine the optimal utilization of storage resources, facilitating significant business growth and evolution.

The Perifery team is particularly excited to talk about the new Perifery Intelligent Content Engine (ICE), that was recently announced (read the press release). ICE is an advanced software platform that leverages unique AI agents and models to manage, organize, and curate media content (e.g., images, videos, audio files, documents, and other multimedia assets). This technology significantly improves the efficiency and accuracy of media asset searches when compared to legacy solutions that rely on metadata.

Before the NAB Show

Starting Friday, April 12 through Saturday, April 13, you’ll find the Perifery team at the JB&A pre-NAB Show Technology Event in The LINQ Hotel. If you’ve never been, you are in for a treat. The team at JB&A assembles the finest technology companies in the M&E industry. You can check out the latest in the tech world, experience demos, meet experts (including the always fun and effervescent Nick Smith), enjoy discounts, and even win prizes. Oh, and did I mention they always have a steady stream of food and beverages? Make sure to register in advance!

During the NAB Show

Stop by and visit with the Perifery team in the newly remodeled South Hall, Lower Level (#SL2089). If you would like to consult with our experts or get a personalized demonstration of Perifery solutions that have been widely adopted by M&E enterprises globally, I recommend that you schedule a meeting.

Sunday

When the show floor opens on Sunday, you’ll find the Perifery team ready to welcome you into the booth. They will have swag to alleviate your dry lips, protect your privacy, and pique your curiosity. More importantly, we’ve got some of our brightest technical staff members available to help solve your most pressing workflow and asset archive issues.

On Sunday afternoon at 4:30pm PST, Seth Cohen, Perifery VP of Sales, will present AI & the Modern Media Workflow at the Seagate booth (#SL4125).

Monday

Monday afternoon, we will be cohosting a Booth Pub Crawl with our partners Seagate and Pixitmedia from 3:30pm-5:30pm PST. You can start your crawl at any of the booths (Perifery #SL2089, Seagate #SL4125, or Pixitmedia #SU4100). Visit all three booths and get your badge scanned to be entered in a prize drawing. Each booth will have a hosted bar where you can visit with the various teams to learn more about their technology as well as how we all work together to give you highly capable solutions with no expensive vendor lock-in.

Tuesday

On Tuesday, April 16 at 10:45am PST, make sure to see Abhijit Dey, Perifery GM & COO, and Jason Perr, Perifery CTO of M&E Solutions, at the Create Zone Theatre  (#SU4087) for their session entitled Find Everything Using AI Content Understanding Without Metadata.

Wednesday

We all know the last day of the show tends to slow down. However, our staff will still be available on the show floor to help you dissect all that information you’ve taken in at the show. They can help you determine the best workflow and archive solutions for your organization and strategize with you on how to make a smooth transition away from solutions that lock you into excessive fees, whether they be hardware refresh or cloud egress.

After the NAB Show

We hope you have a safe trip home and would like to invite you to follow us on LinkedIn. If you need help with your workflow and archive strategy, the Perifery team is always here to help!
